Vanilla Groove is a DUO consisting of Rob Drake on guitar, vocals, flute & harmonica, and Trish Bailey on electric bass.
Based in the Cape Southern Peninsula, they have been performing as a Duo at restaurants, clubs & private functions in Cape Town and surrounding countryside for the last 5 years.
Both Rob & Trish are seasoned musicians, and play a mellow selection of swing & latin
jazz favourites, laid-
While the music of Vanilla Groove is best suited for an older crowd, we have noted that many younger folk enjoy the Jazz and blues standards just as much!
For Weddings and dance functions the duo can be supplemented with additional musicians ie drums, keyboards, sax & female singer as required.
